 Meet Dr. Steven KalenskyI was born and raised in Chicago and have lived in and around the city most of my life. After completing my undergraduate studies at Santa Clara University in California, I returned to Chicago and graduated Northwestern University Dental School in 1981. I am licensed in both Illinois and California. I am a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Congress of Implantology. I believe that informing and educating my patients is the foundation of developing a trusting and long-term relationship that will lead to a lifetime of dental health. With my use of current technology and methods, I strive to make a visit to the dentist less apprehensive and painless. Through my continuous education, I am able to use state-of-the-art materials to restore teeth to their natural function and appearance. I look forward to helping my patients whether it’s a basic filling, complex cosmetics, or full mouth rehabilitation. I have been performing dental services like bonding, porcelain veneers, and implant restorations since the 1980’s. The 30 years of experience I bring to my patients has enabled me to perform both complex and basic dental procedures efficiently and with beautiful, long-lasting results. |
 Meet Dr. Jeffrey GilmorMy focus is to establish a trusting, educational, and comfortable relationship with my patients to achieve a common goal of ideal health and a beautiful smile. I maintain membership with the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Through continuous attendance with these organizations, my staff and I can offer the latest dental technologies and applications to provide my patients with the highest level of quality dental care. Before becoming an associate dentist at Big City Dental, I practiced in the Wrigleyville/Lakeview area. My specialties are in general and cosmetic dentistry, and I am Invisalign certified. I earned my BA and DDS degrees at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and I continued my studies, focusing on hematology studies, at Washington University School of Medicine. In 2004-05 I received a Chicago Dental Society scholarship in academic achievement. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, I have been residing in the Chicago area with my beautiful wife, Veronika, and since 2001. At Big City Dental, I strive to provide an atmosphere that will alleviate any fears or anxieties about dentistry, and with your understanding of my philosophy, I am confident that you will be greatly satisfied with every experience in our office. |
 Meet Dr. Joseph GluckI graduated from the University of Illinois in 1988 with a doctorate in dentistry, where I received the Student Periodontal Achievement award and the Oral Pathology award. My research in the Department of Oral Pathology has been published in the Journal of Dental Research. I received my specialty certificate in periodontics from the University of Illinois in 1991. In addition to my private practice, I am also a clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois where I supervise students in the postgraduate periodontal clinic. I am married and the proud father of three children. In my spare time, I have completed eleven marathons, many triathlons and century bike rides. |
 Meet Dr. Robert SanduskyDr. Bob graduated from Northwestern University Dental School, and completed his formal education with a post-graduate degree from Marquette University Dental School. He has been an attending faculty member at Northwestern's TMJ clinic and attending staff at Children's Memorial Hospital. He was instrumental in the early research and development of today's popular Bonding materials, doing initial clinical trials of sealants, restorations, and veneers. This lead to teaching and lecturing about bonding. Dr. Bob is one of the founding members of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He enjoys all aspect of dental care, but especially, surprising patients with an extra-pleasant experience. His motto: "An ultimate Treat…meant for the mouth." In his free time, Dr. Bob enjoys golf, biking, flying, and a good book. |
